I'm going to assume there's no way, unless I rename without keeping anything but...
Is there any way to somehow delete an entry you've memoried but don't have access to any longer? You are not authorized to view this entry. is what appears. I'm either locked out from the entry, or it was deleted. I'm just OCD and would love to unmemory these, if possible.
EDIT: I figured it out! There is a way. Hallelujah, those lingering dead memories won't bother me anymore!

Does anyone know a way to specify how many posts are on a page when using an S1 layout? I know S2 has a handy-dandy little field where you just type in '1,' but it seems S1 doesn't want to play along.

Hey everyone! I have a bit of a problem, and I thought I'd bring it up here, in case anyone else had the same issue and had a way of fixing it.
Basically, as you know, I go through my friends list frequently to add icon posts to my memories. However, occasionally, I fall behind (lol, which I'm sure you've all noticed). The hard part is going back all the way to where I left off. I know the date, because I make note of it, and I used to be able to go back 250 entries in my friend's list in order to go back far enough to catch up again.
Now, for some reason, I can only go back 40 entries, which can be roughly (depending on the week, finals, etc. whatever iconmakers are up to), up to 2 weeks of entries. Which sometimes just isn't enough. Does anyone else have this problem, where their friends list doesn't go back further than 40 entries? Were you able to fix it? I tried changing layouts a couple times, and it didn't seem to be able to fix it.
Help!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I redeemed a $5 purchase with a $10 coupon and evidently the coupon can't be applied to a new cart even though there ought to be $5 remaining? Is there any way to get around this, or have I just tossed away a good five quid? :(
Update: Never mind, should've paid more attention to the fine print. Looks like the rest of the balance is eaten away, which I think is very unfair either way. Where else do you see one-time use gift certificates, honestly?

Hopefully this is either the place to post this or you can point me toward the right one?
I've been modding for 5+ years and I'm going to be starting a Marvel Civil War era community based in the Marvel Movieverse. I've seen all the marvel movies and I'm very knowledgeable about the characters of the X-Men comic verse, but I lack specific knowledge and details about the Civil War line and the other marvel characters past their movie appearances. Although we would obviously be tweaking things for the movieverse, I'm looking for a co-moderator who's more knowledgeable about this specific era in Marvel's universe so that we could work together on creating this community.
Ideally, I'd love it if you had some good modding experience, but the most important thing is that you can come with your own ideas, be open minded to combining ideas and be aware of what issues members usually have with poor moderators. It's important to me that we can work to set up the community together, but I'd also love to keep you on as a co-mod once we open. So I need to know that you feel you'd be able to continue to moderate well, incorporate old and new members into the monthly plots, help to welcome people and dissolve any potential issues before they become unneeded drama. These responsibilities would be both of ours.
Please comment if you're interested, and send any friends you think of this way if they fit the picture. Thanks!

It's been a while since I finisned my first PSL ad asylum, but I figured I should get the news out there. =D
![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) illustratedpsls : A PSL and GPSL ad asylum for all role plays that are based on animated, illustrated and rendered fandoms. Play-bys are the norm in most RP communities; LJ, IJ, forums, and it is frustrating to find other players who have no qualms in playing in a sandbox where the- well, characters, are not portrayed by real-people, the real world, and so on.
Members may post want ads, as well as a Looking For... profile/application, so other people can find them easily if they're in need of someone who plays in X fandom.
Posts are moderated, but I am online everyday, so there's no problems concerning members having to wait days for their post to be reviewed and accepted.
My asylum is geared for fandoms such as: Western animation, Anime & Manga, Western comics and graphic novels, CG films, stop-motion animated fandoms, and video games. General storyline ideas as well as fully-formed storyline ads are accepted, as are group PSLs. That said, game ads are not allowed: there are many asylums available for public game communities, so I figured it better to just allow PSLs.

Hit a snag, not sure if there's a way to do what I want, but thought I'd bring it to the masters before I dismissed it.
I'm trying to do a layout in Generator to sort of emulate the typesetting of sections of Mark Z. Danielewski's House of Leaves-- which is basically ergodic literature. What do I mean? Like this.
It's not so much the layout that's puzzling me (though ideas/suggestions are welcome) as much as... throughout the book, the word "house" appears in chromakey blue. I'm trying to find a way to have the coding replace all instances of a single word with... the same text in blue, as that was the only way I could think of to do it... and it's not working. It'd be nice to have, as in the book, you run into a blued "house" at least every chapter, so it's a pretty core thing.
Thanks in advance to anybody, even if it's just to say "not possible" so I can stop fiddling.

Hi guys, this is my first time asking for some help but it's a really cool and epic idea that I just can't pass up. It's a layout question of sorts. See, there's cute green dashed line and I was thinking that the icon at the top of the journal looks bare and I could somehow put that boarder around where my icon is supposed to be, but not actually ON the icon. Is there any way to add the dashed line as a part of the layout so I don't have to put it on every icon I use? This is the layout.
